A rejection decision does not change your Firmaskor Credit Score. For other institutions' internal assessments, the impact varies by institution, and it would not be accurate to state a single rule applicable to all companies. After a rejection, what determines the outcome is whether the picture behind the decision has changed.
Does a rejection lower the Firmaskor Credit Score?
No, a rejection does not lower your Firmaskor Credit Score. The score is calculated from the company documents you provide and yields the same result every time with the same information; a rejection decision does not factor into this calculation. Your score changes when your documents are updated.
The Firmaskor Credit Score is neither a credit decision nor a lending commitment. It does not determine the outcome of your application; it displays your company's outlook with a figure between 0 and 100 and the labels Risky, Watch, and Safe.
Are lenders' assessments affected?
There is no single answer for lenders, as each institution uses its own assessment methodology, and these methods are not public. A general statement such as “one rejection reduces your score by this many points” is not accurate for companies.
What can be said is this: applying to many places within a short period may give the other party the impression that the company is strapped for cash. Therefore, finding out the reason for rejection first, rather than applying repeatedly with the same file, is a safer sequence.
What appears in a company's credit records?
The record known as the corporate risk report includes the company's credit history along with its financial leasing and factoring relationships; negative information such as bounced cheques can also be queried separately. This information is collected centrally via notifications from lenders.
Company officials can request their own reports using documents proving their authority of representation. You can learn the application channel from the institution you work with. If you see a record you believe is incorrect, contact the reporting institution. The Firmaskor Credit Score is an assessment separate from this report and is based on the documents you provide.
What should you do first after a rejection?
The first step is to find out which factor prompted the decision. Subsequent steps are shaped by this answer:
- Ask for the reasoning. Even if you cannot get a detailed answer, try to find out whether the issue lies in the application file, the debt burden, or the collateral.
- Note down the amount, maturity, and collateral of the rejected request. The same company might achieve a different result with a different amount or maturity.
- Check your company's credit record and see whether there are any unfamiliar items.
- If you paid a fee, request an itemised breakdown. At credit institutions, unless you cancel the application yourself, no fee may be charged if the service cannot be provided, other than amounts paid to third parties and a reasonable fee proportional to the work performed; any excess must be refunded.
What should you change before reapplying?
What you need to change depends on the reason for rejection. Rather than looking for a strict waiting period before reapplying, consider whether you have made a tangible change regarding the underlying reason:
- Incomplete or inconsistent file: correct the documents and hold discussions again with a complete file.
- Heavy debt burden: reduce the requested amount or review the maturity of existing debts.
- Limited ability to pay: shorten the collection period and structure the repayment plan around the new figures.
- Insufficient collateral: explore options such as guarantee support or receivables-backed financing.
- Short company history: build up a track record of regular invoicing and collections, and start with a smaller amount.
How can you see if the fix worked?
You see it by comparing the result before and after the adjustments. Measure your company again after updating your company documents; check whether your Firmaskor Credit Score and your weak areas have changed. If no change is visible, postponing a new application is better than receiving another rejection with the same file. The result is ready in minutes, and your first report is on us.
